The Role

Lead construction delivery for a major Main Contractor project valued at approximately HKD 8–10 billion. Full P&L and site accountability, reporting to the Executive Committee / COO.

Team

• Direct reports: 4 Senior Project Managers
• Total site workforce: 250+ staff across all trades and subcontractors

Key Responsibilities

• Own overall project delivery — programme, budget, quality, safety, and stakeholder relationships
• Lead and develop a team of Senior Project Managers across multiple work packages
• Manage main contractor obligations: client relationship, subcontractor coordination, regulatory compliance
• Drive site safety culture and ensure statutory compliance (Hong Kong construction regulations)
• Report progress and risk to senior leadership and client stakeholders
• Manage commercial performance — cost control, variations, claims

Requirements

• 15+ years in construction/project management, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role on large-scale projects (HKD billions in value)
• Proven track record delivering complex projects as Main Contractor
• Strong command of Hong Kong construction regulatory environment
• Demonstrated ability to lead large, multi-tier teams (300+ headcount)
• Excellent stakeholder management — client, subcontractor, and regulatory bodies
