Job Summary
The Business Development Manager will drive strategic growth by identifying and securing key B2B partnerships within the fintech and cross-border payments ecosystem. This role focuses on expanding the adoption of our fiat and stablecoin settlement infrastructure, positioning the company as a preferred partner for global trade and treasury operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify high-value B2B prospects, including banks, fintechs, and large enterprises, to integrate our cross-border payment and stablecoin settlement solutions.
- Lead end-to-end sales cycles from initial outreach and discovery to contract negotiation and closing, ensuring alignment with enterprise-grade compliance and security standards.
- Develop and execute strategic partnership initiatives that expand the network’s reach, focusing on corridors with high demand for efficient fiat-to-stablecoin and stablecoin-to-fiat conversion.
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to translate client requirements into scalable infrastructure features, ensuring the platform meets specific regulatory and operational needs.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums to build brand awareness and establish thought leadership in the borderless payments and digital asset sectors.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes in key regions (including APAC) to refine go-to-market strategies and identify new revenue opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven track record of 5+ years in B2B business development, sales, or partnership management within the fintech, payments, or blockchain sector.
- Deep understanding of cross-border payment infrastructure, fiat/stablecoin settlement mechanisms, and the technical nuances of payment rails.
- Strong network of relationships with decision-makers in banking, corporate treasury, and fintech organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate complex sales cycles involving legal, compliance, and technical due diligence.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate technical value propositions to both executive and technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks governing digital assets and cross-border payments in key markets such as Hong Kong and Singapore.
