Job Summary
This role involves managing corporate treasury operations, including cash forecasting, payment authorizations, and trade finance instruments. The position also requires overseeing surplus cash investments and providing support to global business service centers and compliance teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute electronic payment approvals while strictly adhering to established internal authorization protocols.
- Oversee the administration of e-banking platforms, ensuring strict adherence to security standards and access control policies.
- Coordinate the issuance and lifecycle management of Bank Guarantees and Standby Letters of Credit.
- Monitor the status of all active Letters of Credit and Bank Guarantees to ensure timely tracking and resolution.
- Assist with the compilation of monthly reports related to credit facilities and bond obligations.
- Deploy surplus funds into yield-enhancing investment instruments, with a specific focus on markets in China and Taiwan.
- Generate and submit weekly cash flow projections for the 10-day horizon.
- Prepare weekly cash forecasts to support the monthly Working Capital Reporting (WCR) cycle.
- Deliver treasury support services to the Global Business Service Centre located in Kuala Lumpur.
- Facilitate Know Your Customer (KYC) processes and maintain the necessary supporting documentation.
- Assist with data collection and documentation for both internal and external audit engagements.
Requirements
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field, or possess a recognized professional qualification.
- Possess a minimum of seven years of hands-on experience in corporate treasury functions.
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suites and general computer literacy.
- Exhibit the ability to juggle multiple competing priorities and meet strict deadlines.
- Possess full professional fluency in both English and Chinese, covering both written and spoken communication.
- Display strong interpersonal skills, effective communication abilities, and the capacity to manage diverse stakeholder relationships.
- Operate as a collaborative team member with a meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical thinking.
- Show strong numerical aptitude and a genuine interest in analyzing financial data.
- Have a solid understanding of banking products, cash management strategies, and foreign exchange instruments.
- Experience with TIS and Coupa platforms is considered a significant advantage.
- Be a proactive, self-motivated individual who takes initiative to drive results.
- Maintain a good awareness of current financial market trends and developments.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and convert concepts into practical outcomes.
