Job Summary

This position leads the operational stewardship of critical data centre environments, ensuring the uninterrupted performance of essential mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The role balances rigorous maintenance standards, regulatory compliance, and financial oversight to support the organization's growing regional portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Orchestrate comprehensive preventive and corrective maintenance strategies for core infrastructure, including HVAC, power distribution networks, and cooling systems.
  • Uphold strict adherence to local statutory regulations, fire safety mandates, and global benchmarks such as Uptime Institute Tier standards and ISO 55001.
  • Control facility finances by strategizing capital expenditure for system upgrades and driving operational savings through energy efficiency measures.
  • Supervise external contractors and service providers to guarantee strict compliance with service level agreements, quality expectations, and safety protocols.
  • Direct crisis management efforts and conduct deep-dive root cause investigations for critical outages to safeguard business continuity.
  • Maintain precise asset inventories and leverage Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to monitor work orders, spare parts, and equipment lifecycles.
  • Collaborate with engineering and project delivery teams to ensure smooth transitions from the construction phase to steady-state operations at new sites.

Requirements

  • Established track record in facilities management within the data centre, hyperscale, or critical infrastructure industries.
  • Deep technical command of MEP systems, with specific focus on high-capacity power distribution and precision cooling technologies.
  • Proven ability to manage compliance with safety, environmental, and quality frameworks, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OSHA or local equivalents.
  • Advanced proficiency in CMMS platforms and facility management software for asset tracking and performance reporting.
  • Strong leadership capabilities to guide multidisciplinary internal teams and external vendors in high-pressure settings.
  • Fluent English communication skills; working knowledge of Mandarin or Thai is a significant advantage for this regional role.
  • Possession of relevant professional certifications such as CEM, CFM, or PMP is strongly preferred.
